Multi Room Systems
A multi-room system, is single system that controls various systems in other parts of the house. It can be as simple as a two zone receiver powering up a pair of speakers in the kitchen. It can also be as intricate as a multi-room controller that controls blinds, lights, sound and picture in a dedicated home theater room.
There are an infinite number of ways to install and configure a multi-room system, so it’s just a matter of figuring out what system fits you best.
There are several elements you can include in a multi-room system as well. Just to name a few, you can have speakers in every room, multiple displays, room-to-room intercoms, lighting and HVAC controls, in-wall iPod docks, and you can even have in-wall touch-screen panels to control the whole system.
There are factors that will determine which system works for you such as:
